Journal’s policy

“Izvestiya SFedU. Engineering Sciences”, previous name was “Izvestiya TSURE”, was founded in 1995 to assure quality in higher education maintaining its fundamental nature and responding to actual human, public and nation needs, as well as highlighting technical and information problems of Southern Federal District.
The journal was designed to consolidate and expand the integral scientific Russian information space effectively integrating it into the global scientific information space.
“Izvestiya SFedU. Engineering Sciences” is designed for those who develop strategic directions of contemporary science, namely scientists, post-graduate students, candidates for a master’s degree, engineers and technicians, lecturers, facing the problem to assure high quality of technical and engineering educational levels on the basis of fundamental nature, informational support and the use of the latest scientific and technical achievements.
Articles, reports, reviews, informational and other materials appear in “Izvestiya SFedU. Engineering Sciences”. Original written works must substantiate timeliness of the topic, define purpose and objectives of research, and present the latest development achievements of world and Russian science. Articles and other materials must be scientifically substantiated; they must contain generalizations and conclusions being of special interest with their novelty, scientific and practical relevance.
The editorial policy of our Journal is based on traditional ethical principles of Russian academic periodicals; it supports the Ethical Code of Academic Periodicals developed by the Committee on Ethics of Academic Publications (Moscow, Russia).
The editorial policy follows the ethical standards for editors and publishers specified in the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors, and in the Code of Conduct for Journal Publishers, developed by Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
