Abstract This paper describes the approach to solving the problem of increasing the reliability of burglary alarm and video surveillance systems by means of adding to them the microelectronic device acoustic repeller with frightening impact on synanthropic kind of harvestmen spider (Pholcus phalangioides) and on garden-spider (Araneus diadematus).The development of security equipment is extremely rapid. This is mainly due to the intensive development of microelectronics, microprocessor and computer technologies.Despite this, the problem of false alarms remains one of the main reasons that reduce the effectiveness of security systems.The purpose of the work: find the parameters of repellent effects on spiders, that necessary for the subsequent design of the microelectronic device used in burglar alarm and video surveillance systems to reduce false alarms.The scientific novelty is in the use low-amplitude acoustic waves to repel spiders from pyroelectric detectors and surveillance video cameras.Currently have many methods and means of scaring various types of arthropods.The disadvantage of these methods and tools is in the high amplitude of the acoustic signals, which causes incorrectly work of security alarm systems and video surveillance systems. Also the effect of habituation for arthropods to acoustic signals from these instruments is possible. The simulation results of the hearing organs of harvestmen spiders (Pholcus phalangioides) and of garden-spiders (Araneus diadematus) used for: 1) identification of optimal forms of acoustic repel effects; 2) lecture materials on the subject of "Spatially frequency signal filtering" for students of the direction of "instrument".The research facility for assessing the impact of acoustic signals of different shapes, frequencies and amplitudes on spiders of these species has been created. The results of research on the research facility are used for the construction of an embedded microelectronic device of acoustic repel, complementing the electrical circuits of existing security alarm systems and video surveillance systems.
