Abstract The article describes creation of intelligent research system of psychogenic and non-psychogenic asthma forms. The existing information systems developed to diagnose and study various asthma forms are analyzed. The urgency of MIS development related to the research of psychogenic and non-psychogenic asthma forms (psychogenic-induced asthma; somatic psychogenic asthma, non-psychogenic bronchial asthma) is presented. The main attention is given to building a system knowledge base. The analysis of clinical trial result and pattern identification requires using non-parametric and parametric statistics methods; intelligent data analysis methods (cluster analysis, decision tree method, the Bongard limited busting algorithm, etc.); cognitive graphics methods. Including research methods of cognitive graphics (visualization techniques) into the arsenal is based on the computer data processing, as quite sophisticated methods of data analysis become more accessible and visible. The system will be a WEB- server with multi-level user access.
