Abstract In this paper we addressed the issue of the use of the principle of open governance in the allocation of resources to individual activities within small businesses. Studies have shown that due to the existing features of a small business, the use of open management in small companies may, under certain assumptions. Also, a brief overview of the main mechanisms for the distribution of resources. Which of these principles to choose at any given time for a specific PMB depends both on the enterprise itself (its structure, features activities, etc.) and on the state and behavior of its environment. In general cases, in the early days of the company is recommended to use the principle of proportional distribution, further recommended priorities feedback mechanism, which allows a more optimal allocation of resources between different types of activities, depending on the resulting effect on them.
