Abstract The phenomenon of depolarization wave propagation in conditions of multibeam distribution-of signal of the wireless LAN connection inside the building is considered. For the quantitative assessment of the signal weakening in the WLAN channel as a consequence of this effect a field polarization transfer factor is proposed. A three-dimensional geometrical optics model of rays tracing in the room, taking into account the change of polarization with reflections from the walls and obstacles, as well as the random placement of transmitting and receiving antenna is developed. Polarization effects in reflection describes by transformation function of the vector polarization, which used the coefficients of reflection for parallel and perpendicular components of the vector. The results of simulation of the distribution of the module of the polarization coefficient of transmission in the room with the obstacle are presents. It is shown that in the rotation angles of the transmission line antenna more than 45 degrees with respect to the reception vibrator on a large area of horizontal section predominant parasite polarization component.
