Abstract Use of principles nonlinear acoustic tomography allows finding out connection of nonlinear parameters of soft biological tissues with their structural and functional characteristics. In our experiments agar phantom, pig tissue (pork) and myoma were used. The method of measurement of nonlinear propagation characteristics of low frequency vibration in the tissues by using bispectral analysis has been described.
