Abstract There are two ways to correct coarctation of the aorta: surgical and endovascular. A major problem the of endovascular method is recoarctation aorta, the frequency of which reaches 40-70 %, with young children occurs more frequently, as well as possible other serious complications until death. Therefore, to solve this problem was developed algorithm for calculating the valid pressure in the tank for the children during the first years of life. Introduction of this method allows you to considered the geometric dimensions of the aorta and the pathology of the individual patient, and determine the amount of mechanical action needed to restore the lumen of the aorta, while maintaining its functional properties.
