Abstract The method of the consideration of an influence of the erythrocytes discreteness effect on results of measurements with using of pulsoximeter is offered. The estimation of this effect influencing value on the error of definition SpO2 value is conducted. It is founded, that the error of definition SpO2 value depends from wavelengths of optical radiation used in the pulsoximeter and diameters of erythrocytes. The method for measurement SpO2 value by the pulsoximeter with an allowance of erythrocytes sizes is offered.
