Abstract The main methods of system’s analysis on the basis of time series are considered^ method of data substitution, surrogate data technology, iteration Fourier transformation. The surrogates were applied to the analysis of EEG-signals. The criterion of system’s nonlinearity – correlation factor of surrogate data amd original signal – was obtained.
